As you know Barney’s Small Breed Rescue was established in 2018 by Sharron Walters and has grown quite a bit since it all began. Last August we became a community interest company and this change enables BSBR to carry out work of benefit in the community.

Like all rescues, the impact of lockdown has prevented us from carrying out our usual fundraising activities, but we have plenty of ideas and remain optimistic in our ability to continue to support the dogs coming into rescue, as well as the ongoing support and care that we provide for our long term foster dogs.

We know that things are difficult for all of us at the moment, but here are a few things that you can do which will really support us- not just financially- but help us help our community.

  1. Please go over to our facebook page right here. If you haven’t already liked it, please do. We would also like to increase our number of likes on the page so help us share the good work that we do and reach a greater audience by inviting at least 5 people to like our page. Thanks!

2. We are looking at different ways that we can fundraise, so if you are able to contribute to our project we have a go fund me page which you can access and donate right here.

3. Join us on our raffles, (virutal) quiz nights, and visit our online shop for a special gift for your furry friend.

In the meantime thank you for continuing to support and share your adoption and foster stories and care with us and for our Barney’s dogs- we love and appreciate you.
